Ronald G. Ireland

77 years old, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Ronald was a math educator for almost 50 years, teaching at Tech, Howe, Northwest, Brebeuf High schools, Red Bird Mission, and IUPUI. He was a member of North United Methodist Church where he attended many services. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family, traveling and biking. Ronald received numerous awards for his dedication and service to his career and was known for his generous and giving spirit to all who knew him.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Patricia Ireland; children, Pam Harris (Mark), Jon Ireland (Kellie), Lisa Ireland, and Scott Ireland; 6 grandchildren, Emily, Katie, Julia, Rebecca, Thomas, and Isaiah; brother, Donald Ireland (Linda) and many other family, friends, and students. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kannel Ireland and Helen Ireland Dalrymple; brother, Larry Ireland.

Memorial Contributions can be made to Methodist Red Bird Mission or American Cancer Society.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Great Hall Chapel in Washington Park North Cemetery 2706 Kessler Blvd. W. Dr. Indianapolis. Services have been entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North.
