Roma J. Crump

Roma J. Crump, 70 of Knightstown, passed away Monday, March 2 at her brother’s home in Carmel.  Roma was born December 16, 1949 in Shelbyville, IN to the late Jerome A. “Rone” and June R. Roberts.  She was a graduate of Hancock Central High School and Brazosport (Texas) College.  Roma was a nurse for over 30 years, retiring from Golden Living Center-Brandywine in Greenfield in 2015.  Roma was a devoted caretaker, whether it be her patients, family or pets…she selflessly gave of herself to help others.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 10 at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 11 at Gravel Lawn Cemetery.

Roma was the widow of Geary E. Crump.  She is survived by her brother, Jerry Roberts and his wife, Marcella and their children, Brandon and Lauren (fiancée, Tom Blessing).
