Roland -Ron- Lane

Roland 'Ron' Lane, age 77 of Mooresville passed away on July 20, 2016.

Ron work many years as an engineer for Indiana Veneers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda; his parents, Oscar and Mary Wethington Lane; siblings: Evona, Gilbert, James, Emadean, and Rosa Mae; grandchild Ronnie Wilson and great grandchildren: Natalie, Raelynn and Aaliyah Lane.

Ron is survived by a large family including siblings: Harlan Lane, Curtis (Kelly) Lane, Damie Hanzel, Avondale Lane, Judy, Benny Lane, David Lane and Christine Lane; children: Robert Loyd Wilson, Gerald Ray Wilson, Cynthia Jo Wilson, Sharon Rose Lane, and Greg Roland Lane; grandchildren: Eric, Lacy and Wanda Wilson, Nita Marie, Becky, Wendy, Brandy and Zac Reeves, Keith Pierce, Jesse Chapman, Russell, Randy and Nathen Lane; great grandchildren: Russell Jr., Randy III, Macy, Jasmine, Isaiah, Rugger, and Remington Lane, Logan Wilson, Vaughn and Gabriel Stacey and James F. Chapman.

Friends may visit from 4-8 PM Wednesday July 27, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis. The Celebration of Life will be Thursday at 11 AM at the funeral home, with Ron being laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery.
