Roger D. Farley, Sr.

Roger DeWayne Farley, Sr., 66 of Indianapolis passed away January 28, 2018. He was born March 15, 1951 in Indianapolis to Lewis and Reba Farley. After his mother died at a young age, he was raised by his father and Libbie Farley. He graduated from Decatur Central High School and served in the US Navy from 1969 until 1972. He retired from Cargill after more than 25 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, softball, horseshoes and corn hole.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years, Sandra, his children, Clyde (Janie) Boggs, Susan (Shawn) Hart, Roger (Paula) Farley, Jr. and Joshua (Heather) Farley, Sr., his brothers and sisters, Richard Farley, David Farley, Randy Farley, Jeanie Lundy, Gail Napier, Brenda Farley and Lisa Farley as well as his grandchildren, Destiny, Casey, Katie, Taylor, Roger, Clyde III, Mariah, Kayla, Dylan, Jeremiah, Joshua II, Matthew, Tristin and Tatum and great-grandchildren, Cordell, Chesneigh, Kaylynn, Jacob, Christopher and Danica.

Friends may visit with his family from 4-8 PM Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis. The funeral will be at 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Please share memories and condolences at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
