Roberta Lea Kearney

Roberta Lea Kearney, 75, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016. She was born on October 20, 1940 in Vevay, IN as one of 11 children born to Frank E. and Naomi (Fulton) Peelman. Roberta enjoyed playing Bingo and loved her feline companions. She is survived by her children, John (Sheila) Kearney, Mary (Ralph) Beasley, Robert (Becky) Kearney, Paul “Jeff” (Kelley) Kearney; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Roberta is also survived by siblings, Linda, Mary, Shirley, Ron and Gordon. She was preceded in death by her parents; several brothers and sisters; and her loving husband, Paul Kearney who passed away in 1994. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park at 3pm, with visitation 2 hours prior to the service. Burial will take place in Floral Park Cemetery on Monday at 10am. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
