Robert L Kazort

Robert L. Kazort, Age 78, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 18, 2017. He was born May 24, 1939 in Harvard, Illinois to Robert and Theo Kazort. Robert came to Indiana in the early 60s where he worked and later retired from National Starch and Chemical. He married his loving wife, Pat, in 1984. Family remembers him as an avid bowling enthusiast who loved to sing with gospel groups.

He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Ruby; daughter, Lori Frost; brother, Claire Kazort; and sister, Erma Voeller. Robert is survived by his wife, Pat; daughters; Debbie (Steve) Wittenmyer, Judy (Mike) Haynes, Lisa (Mike) Wood, son-in-law; Terry Frost; step-daughters; Dawn Brumley, Shirley (Jimmy) Browers, Libby (Rick) Browers, Jamie Browers, siblings; Carol (Don) Anderson and Betty (Mike) Yurik as well as 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Family would like to recognize Premier Hospice staff member, Jeanne Trauner, for her tireless efforts in Robert’s care.

Friends may visit from 1-7 PM Wednesday, November 22, 2017, service immediately following at 7 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis. Contributions may be made in Robert’s memory to Premier Hospice.
