Robert Benson Coffey

Robert Benson Coffey, 74, of Indianapolis, passed away February 11, 2016. He was born in Big Stone Gap, VA the son of Jessee and Jane (Townsend) Coffey. He retired from Chrysler Corp. in 2005, where he was an electrician. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Troy and Paul Coffey.

Robert is survived by his wife of more than 52 years, Wilma (Browning) Coffey; his children, Robert Coffey, Jr. (Sherri), Teresa Bandy (Raymond), Donald Coffey (Lynn), Kimberly Coffey, Krystle Asa (Evan) and Tressie Coffey; brothers, George Coffey (Teresa), James Coffey, and Roy Coffey; sisters, Nellie Coffey (Steve) and Gladys Estes; 2 sisters in law, Charlie and Brenda Coffey; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 15, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN. Family will receive visitors on Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 4-8 PM. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
