Richard Isaac Hughes

Richard Isaac Hughes, 93, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away January 7, 2022. He was born on January 18, 1928, to the late Floyd and Flo Hughes, in Coshocton, Ohio.

Richard was an Air Force veteran, having served during the Korean War. He received an honorable discharge as a staff sergeant. He spent 43 years at Ohio Power as a meter superintendent, eventually retiring in 1990. Richard was an active member of the Lions Club and the American Legion. He attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Zoar, Ohio. Richard also served in the Highway Patrol Axillary for over 30 years and was a part of the Bolivar Sportsman Club.

Richard loved gardening, boating, and camping. He went fishing in Canada for 37 years. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Janice; daughter, Lisa, of Arizona; son, Steve (wife, Shannon) of Indianapolis; and grandchildren, Tyler, Sierra, Sean, and Hayden. He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Hughes.
