Raymond Martin Bragiel

November 14, 1926 — February 8, 2017

In the early morning hours of February 8, 2017, Raymond Martin Bragiel touched the face of God. Ray lived his life to the fullest, every single day of his 90 years. So many lives were blessed and influenced by his wisdom, generosity and kindness.

Ray proudly served his country as a United States Marine in WWII. Semper Fi!
Ray graduated from Kent State University, were he completed both undergraduate and graduate studies.
After many years in private practice as a clinical psychologist, specializing in child psychology, he went on to teach at University of Indianapolis, and Franklin College where he retired in 1995.
He is proceeded in death by his wife Sue. Survived by his children Carl and Carolyn, daughter-in-law Lisa and many “grand pets”
He was a huge, lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, and was proud and ecstatic to see his beloved Cubbies win the 2016 World Series.

Memorial service Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Oaklawn Memorial Gardens-Conner Suite with visitation from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church; Franklin College Psychology Department; or Huxhold Foundation for Lutheran Child and Family Services.
