Ralph E. Walls

Dr. Ralph E. Walls, 85, Carmel, went into the presence of His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 8, 2018.  Ralph was born August 31, 1932, in Mount Vernon, Indiana, the son of the late Oscar and Ina Mae (Knight) Walls.

Dr. Walls graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1950.  He proudly and honorably served in the United States Army and the Indiana National Guard for eight years.  He was a proud and outstanding soldier of the U.S. Army and was given the “Soldier of the Year” award for the entire Far East Command in 1955. He graduated top of his class from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1961 and established his dental practice in Carmel, Cornerstone Dentistry, where he remained until his retirement in 2001.

Dr. Walls was a faithful man, who stood strong in His Christian faith.  He was a member of Castleview Baptist Church.  Ralph taught various bible studies in his church and community which touched many lives. He and his wife of 64 years served as a part of the Associate Staff of Campus Crusade for Christ for many years. Ralph continued his outreach and ministry efforts in his community and served with Samaritans Purse internationally.

He is survived by his loving wife, Anne and two children: Tracey Davis and Eric Walls (Leslie), and seven grandchildren: Joshua, Nicholas, Amanda Manship (Jayson), Zachary, Caitlin Bray (Sam); Jessica Brown (Jeremy), and Ben Walls; four great grandchildren: Nathaniel Davis, Ruby Mae and Simon Manship, and Adeline Brown; sister, DeEtte Krietenstein, and a brother, Darwin (Melinda) Walls of Arizona.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 14 from 4 to 7 pm. at Castleview Church.  A celebration of life will be Wednesday, August 15, at 11:00 AM at Castleview Baptist Church with internment afterwards at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens at 9700 Allisonville Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Ralph and Ann Walls Legacy Fund at National Christian Foundation, 11625 Rainwater Dr. Suite 500, Alpharetta,Ga 30009.
