Phebe Elizabeth Smith

Phebe Elizabeth (Klein) Smith, 78, of Carmel passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 17, 2020 at Willow Lake Place in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She will be laid to rest with her parents and siblings in Brecksville Cemetery in Brecksville, Ohio.

Phebe was born to William and Elizabeth (Noble) Klein on April 19^th, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio.

She is survived by sons Jacques (Sena) Jessen of Indianapolis, Indiana and Sean (Janice) Smith of Carmel, Indiana; sister Jill Klein of Brecksville, Ohio; four grandchildren – Peyton, Dillon, Ryan and Ayden; and five great-grandchildren – Jack, Levi, London, Fiona, Jamie and Oifa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Smith; her father and mother William and Elizabeth Klein; her brothers William Klein and George Klein; and her sister Johanna Klein.

Given world events, the date and time of a memorial service for Mrs. Smith for family and friends to gather in remembrance has not yet been determined.  The family thanks all for their thoughts and prayers, and would like you to know that you are also in ours.
