Paul Charles Struck

With great sadness, the family Paul Charles Struck announces his passing at age 72 on Sunday, November 18, 2018.
He was born on September 29, 1946 in Bellefonte Pennsylvania as the son of Robert and Arlene Struck.
He was a graduate of Mt.Lebanon High School in 1964 and received his BA from Westminster College in 1968. Paul was a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity, Beta Phi Chapter. After graduating from Westminster College, he attended Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA. On August 21, 1971, he married Marta Sharon Walton. He was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the United States Coast Guard and served on the USCGC Gresham until 1976. After completion of service, Paul attended graduate school at Pennsylvania State University.
Paul had a great passion for family and invested much of his time and energy in spending time with his children and grandchildren including playing games and going to the park. He also shared his love and knowledge of sports with his children and grandchildren through coaching, teaching and spending time with them on various fields and courts. He used his faith and education in leading a weekly bible study at Harbor Manor in Noblesville for the last five years of his life. His talent and love for photography is evident in the lasting beauty of the images and memories he captured.
Paul is survived by his children: Jennifer (Michael) Rohmann, Robert Alan (Whitney) Struck, Lonnie Charles (Katelyn) Struck; 7 grandchildren: Sydney, Nathaniel, Blake, Addison, Grayson, Ella, Grace; brother James (Trudy) Struck; 2 nieces: Jourdan Struck, Heather (Chris) Spratt; and nephew Chad (Adrienne) Tenbarge
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 23, 2018, from 12noon-2pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park North. A funeral service will follow at 2pm also at the funeral home.
