Patricia Ann Day

Patricia Ann Day was born November 28, 1960 to Curtis and Theresa Day in Indianapolis, IN. She graduated from IPS Washington High School in Indianapolis, IN 1979. Her family affectionately called her Ann. Patricia was employed at Olin Brass until she moved to Spring Hill, TN in 2005. She joined the staff at Williamson Medical Center as a Nurse Tech in Franklin, TN. Several years later she joined the staff of Bone and Joint Institute in Franklin, TN as an orthopedic technician. She was loved and appreciated by the staff, co-workers, and patients leaving a lasting impression on anyone she met, including strangers. Ann was a positive and upbeat person.
After coming to Spring Hill, TN she united in the fellowship of Grace United Missionary Baptist Church where Rev. Kerry D. James resides as the pastor.
Patricia Ann Day departed this life May 7, 2021 at the age of 60 years 5 months and 20 days. To know her is to love her, she will be sadly missed, we bow in humble submission to our heavenly father’s will.

She leaves to cherish her memory- her father and mother Curtis and Theresa Day, three children – 1 daughter, Monique LaShawn Shanks and 2 sons – Jermaine Lynn Shanks, Christian Jamal Givens, three brothers – Curtis Day Jr (Ruby), Charles Earl Green, Wayne Elliott Day, one sister – Theresa Springfield (Deryl), Nieces – Nicole Springfield, LaTasha Hardy (Allen), Brittany Day, Alekia Smith – nephew Devin Day, one aunt – Linnie Montgomery, 13 grandchildren, 6 great
nieces, 4 great-nephews and a host of cousins and other relatives.

Patricia is preceded in death by her grandparents – Carrie Montgomery, Margie Green, Jimmie Montgomery, Rudolph Green, and nephew Keith Lamont Hampton. The family of Patricia Ann Day wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many comforting messages, prayers, flowers, food and any other expression of kindness and concern.
