Olga Jeffares 75 of Zionsville, passed away January 13, 2023, surrounded by family, from complications of colon cancer. Olga was born March 11, 1947, in Chicago, to Lou and Helen Catavolos. Olga attended West Tech high school in Cleveland Ohio, with her older brother, George. Always a high achiever, Olga was voted senior class president and most likely to succeed by her classmates. Succeed is what she continually did in all aspects of her life. Olga attended university at Miami of Ohio where she was a member of the Tri Delta sorority and homecoming queen. Olga married Veno Paraskevas in 1977 and during their 13-year marriage had two beautiful daughters, whom Olga loved dearly. They owned and operated several successful restaurants. Including The Time Out and Veno’s Pizza in Purdue West. Her strong work ethic and warm personality were unprecedented. She then had an award-winning career in West Lafayette as a realtor for the next 42 years, with her work family at Coldwell Banker Shook. Olga and Bob Jeffares married in 1990 for 22 years until his death in 2012. They enjoyed travelling together, attending Purdue’s sporting events, and time with friends and family. Olga was involved in numerous charities and community events throughout her life. It was important to her to give back to the community she lived in. Olga has been described as “one in a million” by many. Generous, fiercely intelligent, kind, wicked sense of humor, and completely glamorous. A classic beauty inside and out. She loved animals, enjoyed working, home decor, time with friends, shopping and travel.

Olga was a wife, mother, sister, aunt, yaiyai, loving friend and brilliant businesswoman. She led by example and continues to inspire us all. Preceding her in death are her parents, Lou and Helen Catavolos, and her husband Robert Jeffares. Surviving are her daughters, Nicole Paraskevas of Carmel, Darren (Derrick) Daily of Zionsville, Stepsons, Stuart Jeffares and Dr. Kim Coleman of Birmingham, MI, Jon Jeffares of Santa Monica, CA. Scott (Pam) Jeffares, Phillip Jeffares, all of Indianapolis. Her dearest brother George (Tona) Catavolos of Zionsville, and nieces Lindsay and Stephanie Catavolos of Carmel. Beloved grandchildren, Cecilia, Caroline, Mason and Dax Daily, Lauren Newman, Cameron-Jolie, Beckham, and Rosie Jeffares. She leaves behind her dog Mokie, countless dear friends, family, and colleagues. The family requests in lieu of flowers please make contributions on Olga’s behalf to: Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Taffy’s Touch Senior dog rescue, The American Cancer Society, or Hamilton County Humane Society.

Visitation will be held on January 19, 2023, from 9-11am, with the Funeral Service at 11 am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 3500 W 106th St, Carmel IN. 46032. Private Entombment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
