Miriam Hazel Nidiffer

Miriam Hazel Nidiffer passed away in her home in Zionsville on Saturday, April 28 at the age of 70.  Miriam was born June 28th, 1947 in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to London, England as an infant.  Miriam is predeceased by her parents, Paul and Susan (Frankl) Joseph and her younger brother Michael.  Miriam is survived by her loving husband Jim of 26 years and emigrated to the US with Jim in 1991.  Also surviving is her son Dominic (partner Becky Higgitt), her step children Michael Nidiffer (Karen), Beth Toney (Scott).  She was an amazing grandmother to Jack, Brittany, Nathan, Alicia, Matthew, Luke, Austin, Jacob, Michael and Anna and had 3 great grandchildren (Lily, Logan, Landon). Miriam was a teacher in England and also in Zionsville schools.  Miriam loved family, friends and people.  Her interests were arts, particularly writing poetry, reading, film, theatre and music.  She enjoyed traveling and being outdoors.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 2-4pm with a funeral service following at 4pm at Flanner Buchanan-Zionsville, 105 W. Pine St., Zionsville, IN 46077.
