Mildred -Kay- Coffman

Mildred “Kay” Coffman, 74 of New Palestine, IN passed away June 10, 2017. Kay was born June 4, 1943 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Ray and Milda (Hodge) Roberts. She was a member of East 91st Street Christian Church. Kay was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Madonna Jean Winter.

Kay is survived by her husband of 54 years, Michael A. Coffman; her daughters Cathy Coffman-Peters and her husband William of Indianapolis, Lisa Schultz and her husband Tim of Plymouth, MN, Vicki Bye and her husband Derrick of Noblesville, IN and Nikki and Jeff Whipple of Lawrence, IN; grandchildren, J.T. Tollefsen, Jr., Lauren, Sarah and Luke Schultz and Carmella Whipple; siblings, Beverly Fitzwater and her husband Jim of New Palestine, IN, Millard Roberts of Greenwood, IN, Sally Overbeck and her husband Ed of Mt. Vernon, IN, Sue Merriman and her husband Kenny of Bedford, IN, Virginia Thompson and her husband Charles “Skeet” of Shirley, IN and Debbie Roberts and Jimmy Schwimmer of Indianapolis.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 4-8 PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. A Celebration of Kay’s life will be held 10:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
