Melissa Ann Williams Harlan Wiles
56, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 2, 2015. Melissa was born in Indianapolis on July 22, 1959 to the late Edwin Kyle Williams and Mary (ONeill) Williams. She was a graduate of North Central High School. Melissa worked as a Teachers Aide with special needs children in Washington Township Schools and had also worked as the Floral Manager with Kroger.
Melissa loved her family and was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed all sorts of crafts, gardening and spending time with those she loved. She will be lovingly missed by her husband, John R. Wiles; her mother, Mary Williams; children: Nathan Harlan, Nicole (Jonathan) Blythe, Kyle Wiles, Savanah Wiles; grandchildren: Jordan, Payson, Halo, Ava, Jerome; siblings: Kathy Williams, Ken Williams, Peggy Gresk, Mary Anne Tracy, Eddie Williams; as well as numerous other extended family and friends.
Lissa was such a wonderful mixed bag of love and laughter. She loved her family dearly. She never met a broken person or broken animal that she wouldn't take in and shelter. If she had two cents to rub together and you needed one she would give it to you. If she had a sandwich and your family was hungry, she would split it five ways and have a party. She and her husband have been loving caretakers of her 94 year old mother for the past few years and for that her family will be forever greatful. Lissa had many trials in this life and life did not always treat her kindly but she was always willing to forgive, ask for forgiveness and move on. Her love will live on in her 4 children.
"Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity". H Van Dyke
