Mary Margaret Hoover

Mary Hoover, 73, of Greenfield, passed away March 11th, 2022. She was born December 4th, 1948, in Indianapolis, and was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Foor and Rita and Dennis Foley, her brother Michael Foley, and her sister Jean Foor.
Mary studied art and design at Los Angeles Valley College and Glendale Community College. She worked as a very successful real estate agent for many years helping countless clients find their forever homes.
Mary was a vibrant, enthusiastic lady, with a magnetic personality that lit up the room. She loved being social, dancing, playing cards, and hanging out with family and friends. She always made it a point to attend family gatherings and events, and made sure to give cards for birthdays and Christmas. A talented designer, Mary was very artistic. In her free time, she loved to travel and especially enjoyed cruises. She loved the sunshine and felt at home with her toes in the sand, daiquiri in hand. Mary took great pride in her appearance and believed you should always put your best face forward.
She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, dog mom, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Mary is survived by her son John (Debbie Ayres) Whobrey; Sisters Carol (John) Wysowski, Denise (John) Shurts, Theresa Ball, Anita (Reggie) Winston, Jan Foor, and Martha Foor; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved fur “Boys” Camo and Bullit.
Mary’s visitation will be Saturday, March 26th, from 11-2pm at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East. Her memorial service will begin promptly at 2pm.
