Mary Catherine -Wiggle- Nealy

Mary Catherine Nealy (nee Frost) of Indianapolis, IN, better known to many as "Wig" or "Wiggle," passed away peacefully on January 2, 2016, at the age of 88.

She was born in Scottsville, KY, on June 14, 1927, to Harvey and Pearl Frost, who precede her in death.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Wayne Everett Nealy; siblings Marie Frost, Joseph frost, Nelline Spear, Margean Shaw, Louise Williams, and James Frost; grandson Carl Nealy; and great-granddaughter Leslie Nealy.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her siblings Lucy Gooch, Nina Wiggins, Betty McAlister, and Shirley Frost; her children Darrell Wayne Nealy (Sharon), Joyce Dean Boyd (Bill), Sherry Darlene Knoll (Tom), Ken Everett Nealy, and Charles Scott Nealy (Wanda); as well as 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren.

Mary was an entrepreneur, including at the family businesses of Mary's Bar, Nealy's Blue Room and Nealy's Body Shop. She was an avid sports fan, especially of horse racing, and she loved to play dice and the slot machines.

Her family lost a woman who can never be replaced. She raised five children, and had a hand in raising many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Mary knew no strangers. Everyone was always welcome in her home. Many life lessons were learned around her kitchen table.
