Mary Beth Onorato

Mary Beth Onorato passed away peacefully on Monday, September 12, 2016. She was proceeded in death by her parents Dr. Joesph Onorato, Elizabeth (Toomey) Onorato and sister Patricia Bucsh. Survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Jeffrey Day; cherished daughters, Alexandra (Nicholas) Stark, Cecilia Day and Margaret Day. Loving Nona to grandchildren; Jack, Mia, Annalise, and Sullivan Stark; siblings, Sue (Wendel) Blue, Kathy Tully, Tim (Cathy) Onorato, Lynn (Terry) Spartz, Nancy (Ted) Potter and David (Chrissy) Onorato. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Mary Beth graduated Central Catholic High School in Lafayette, Indiana. She attended Indiana State University and later moved to New York City to begin her 41 year long career as an international flight attendant for American Airlines. After starting a family and living in San Francisco and Sonoma for many years, she returned home to Indiana (Carmel) in 1992.

Being a survivor of breast cancer, she never let the disease define her. She was a dedicated mother who was proud of her three daughters and participated fully in their lives, they were the joys of her life. Later, she was blessed with four beautiful grandchild who she loved dearly and spoiled often.

MaryBeth loved and lived life to its fullest. Her wit, humor, and disposition will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel. Seating will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by the memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
