Mary Ann Lady

Mary Ann Lady, 92, Carmel, passed away Tuesday May 15, 2018. She was born July 28, 1925 in Frankfort, IN, to the late Helen Witherow. She was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, and the Plainfield Garden Club where she shared her passion for gardening with others. Mary Ann was also passionate about politics and sports, especially the Indianapolis Colts and the Indiana Pacers. Other hobbies included playing bridge and oil painting. Mary Ann was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Frank) Bove; son, Michael (Leslie) Lady; grandchildren, Geff Lady, Todd (Michelle) Lady, Ryan (Brooke) Ross, Brandon (Kristyn) Ross, Alison (Ben) Wyss, Melissa (Ryan) Merrill, Scott (Alexandra) Bove, and Katherine (Darren) Fujii; and thirteen great grandchildren. Mary Ann is preceded in passing by her mother; husband, Conrad Lady; and great grandson, Owen Wyss. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 18, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan – Carmel, 325 E Carmel Dr., Carmel, IN 46032.
