Margie Lee Johnson

Margie Lee (Ivey) Johnson, age 89, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on November 12, 2019. Margie was born on May 14, 1930 to the late Willie Ivey and the late Mattie (Musselwhite) Ivey in Robeson, North Carolina.

Margie was kind and loved by everybody who got the chance to meet her. She will be remembered as having an ornery and beautiful sense of humor. Margie will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Mattie Ivey; her loving husband, Harlan Johnson; her daughter, Phyllis Anne Lindsey; and her siblings, Norman Ivey, Willie Ivey, and Helen Miller. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Anita Mann (Eugene); her sister, Jane Ervin; her niece, Sherry; her nephews, Leonard, Larry and Tim; her grandchildren, Kevin (Shannon), Amy (Dennis), Angela (Mike), Kristie (Mike); and her great grandchildren, Shanna, Kevin, Alex, Asher, Aniah, Lyndsey, Jeremy and Tommy.

All are welcome to attend Margie’s visitation as well as funerial services. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 11am to 1pm at Flanner Buchanan – Floral Park with services to immediately follow. Margie will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
