Margaret Ann Hole

Margaret Ann Hole, 83, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida passed away on January 23, 2022. Margaret was born in Hamlet, Indiana on June 11, 1938, to parents Donald and Florence (Glasgow) Peregrine.

Margaret graduated from Oregon Davis High School in Hamlet, Indiana, and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from the Ball State Teachers College, as well as, her Masters of Arts Degree in Education from Ball State University located in Muncie, Indiana.

During her career, Margaret worked as a teacher with Harrison- Washington Community School Corporation. She taught 1^st and 2^nd graders for over 30 years.

Margaret was a member of Eastern Star – Masonic Temple, Muncie, Indiana.

She was a “master of many things” ranging from sewing to carpentry to electrical wiring.

Upon retiring, she wanted to have lots of “fun in the sun on a cheap beach!”, and that is exactly what she did for the last 25 years. New Smyrna Beach, Florida became her home and where she enjoyed the sun and lifelong friendships.

Her biggest passion in life was helping others. She had such a generous kind heart, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Florence.  She is survived by her children, Eric L. Hole and Erin Wirthwein (Kevin); grandchildren: Lauren Wirthwein and Brandon Hole; and sister, Jane Wieczork.

Services will be held privately.
