Marcia Louise Eades

Marcia Louise Eades, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018.

She was born on March 15, 1945 in Whiteland, IN to the late Deedrick and Elizabeth Chitwood.  Marcia was a 1963 graduate of Mooresville High School and married the love of her life, Larry Eades, on November 30, 1963. The newlyweds moved to Hawaii where they spent 13 months together before relocating back to the Indianapolis area to start their family.  Marcia was a devoted mother and wife and as her children grew, she went to work for AUL, working as an administrator for 15 years.  She and Larry enjoyed time in Deltona, FL and traveling together.  Marcia was also extremely active in the United Methodist Church, enjoying memberships with Mooresville UMC, Sanford UMC, New Palestine UMC and Southport UMC.  She loved to sing in the choir and volunteer in the church’s various ministries.  Marcia used her creative gifts to paint, arrange flowers, sew, play the piano, and sing and dance.  Her greatest love in life was her family, and she cherished the time she spent with them.

Marcia is survived by her loving husband of 54 years; Larry Eades; daughters, Kim (Greg) Oberc, Dina (Brian) Moore, Leticia (Brian) Couch; grandchildren, Zackary, Samantha, Patrick, Clayton, Luke, Shelby and Jamie.  Marcia is also survived by her siblings, Donna Chitwood, Connie Minton, Gary Chitwood, Norma Chitwood.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and infant sister.

Visitation for Mrs. Eades will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East from 4-8pm.  Funeral services will take place at the funeral home on Friday at 11am, with additional visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  Entombment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Friends are invited to leave online condolences for the family at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
