Lucy Marie Davis

Lucy Marie Davis, 72, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away September 21, 2021. She was born January 30, 1949 in Logan, West Virginia to the late Hobert James and Fannie W. (White) Gibson. Lucy worked in Medical Records for Indiana Heart Hospital and formerly with St. Francis Hospital. She enjoyed shopping, her coffee, reading, doing crossword puzzles, playing cards, cooking and especially spending time with her family. Lucy was loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Bill (Holly Phillips) Davis, Darla (William) Muckey, Darlene (Brian) York, Shelia (Richard Gregory) Davis, Patricia (Kenny) Wilson, Lucinda (Stan, Jr.) Cooper, 18 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sisters, Sandy Webb, Dreama Cantrell, Loretta Cash, and her brother, Teddy Gibson. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Davis, and her sisters, Helen Wilburn, Ardella Cole and her brother, Doug Gibson. Visitation will be held 11:00 AM-2:00 PM on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township with her service at 2:00 PM also at the funeral home.
