Lois “Janie” Crouch

85, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 22, 2016. Janie was born on September 13, 1931 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Samuel and Harriet (Harryman) Simpson. A devoted mother and wife dedicated her life to her family and her church, Seerley Creek Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Esther Roberts, Kate Spicer, Marie Martin, Paul Simpson, Joan Martin and Elsie Dye. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Norman Crouch, son Jerry Crouch, daughters Linda (Ron) Reed, Janetta (Bob) Johnston, Mary Garner, a sister Ruth Shipp, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday September 26th from 4-8pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Floral Park, with funeral services Tuesday September 27th at 10am in the funeral center. Burial will follow the services in Floral Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Seerley Creek Christian Church.
