Linda Sue Daniels

On January 9, 2018 Linda Sue Daniels entered the Kingdom of her Heavenly Home to meet her parents John and Earnestine Daniels, along with her sister Earnestine and brother Alonzo. She confessed her love and belief in Christ at an early age, and remained faithful throughout her life.

Linda graduated from Roosevelt High School in Gary, Indiana. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education Degree with honors, from Lincoln University – Jefferson City, MO and her Masters of Science in Education Degree + 30 in Education, from Indiana University. Linda was a Master Teacher with many years of rewarding, and successful experience teaching children. She taught in Gary, IN, Los Angeles, CA and Indianapolis, IN. She was a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, and Indiana University Alumni Association. Linda brought sunshine into the lives of everyone and had a permanent influence on children’s lives forever. She strongly believed that children are our future, and this showed by the way she cultivated, and encouraged high scholastic and ethical standards, as well as fostered long lasting friendships and unity among students.

We can rejoice today because we know that Linda is with other family members who preceded her in death, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Linda leaves to mourn her life, a loving daughter Candi A. Daniels, and son Eric L. Daniels; sister Kay Daniels Stover; brothers John R. Daniels (Gwendolyn) and Paul E. Daniels; a beloved and devoted niece Kathy J. Stover; and goddaughter Attorney Raven Lewis, as well as a host of cousins and loyal friends.

Linda will be missed immensely, remembered fondly and cherished for her impact and devoted love as a mother, sister, aunt, teacher, and friend.

Memorial contributions in Linda’s memory may be made to her son Eric L. Daniels who is currently pursuing his medical degree at Indiana University in Bloomington.
