Linda M. Blankenship

Linda Miller Blankenship (68) passed peacefully into the presence of her Savior in the early morning hours on Monday, March 6, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Linda was born on August 7, 1954 in Jacksonville, Florida. She grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and married her best friend, F. Richard Blankenship III, on July 20, 1974. The Lord blessed them with four daughters. Linda selflessly and faithfully served her family all the days of her life even while battling many health challenges. She was known as a patient listener and faithful encourager to all who knew her. She treasured Christ and his word above all else. She was a woman who loved the Lord and his church.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Frances Miller, and her brother David Miller. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard; her daughters and sons-in-laws, Ben and Laura Turner, Jeremy and Jennifer Wilson, Nathan and Kathryn Lee, and Eric and Rachael Davis; and her sixteen grandchildren, Essie, Benjamin, Sarah, Hannah, Grace, Samuel, Katie, James, Isaiah, Bessie, Thomas, Joanna, Addie, Abby Beth, Sophie, and Charlie.

Services will be held at Second Reformed Presbyterian Church, 4800 N. Michigan Road, Indianapolis, IN 46228, on Saturday, March 11, 2023. Visitation is from 10 AM to 12 PM. The funeral service will be held at 12 PM at the church, followed by a graveside service at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
