Linda K. Douglas

Linda K. Douglas of Indianapolis went to be with her Lord on October 7, 2017 at the age of 73.

She was born August 10, 1944 in Detroit, MI to Karl Kohlmeyer and Elizabeth (nee Holisek) Stinson, and was raised since the age of three by her mother and step-father Ed Stinson. She later relocated to Indianapolis where she settled with her family. She spent her time serving in security at Lucas Oil Stadium for the last 10 years, as well as working at the State Fair and the Convention Center. She enjoyed spending time with her church community, trips to the lake, and dancing which made her feel free. She will be remembered as a woman of faith who always saw the best in others.

She is survived by her daughters Deborah Tasker (Michael) and Janice Lightle (Mike); grandchildren Michael Conley, Michael Lightle (Jenn), Amanda Stasiowski (Marc), Sgt Nicholas Tasker, and Ashley Tasker; great-grandchildren Hayden Lightle, Hayleigh Lightle, Kailee Lightle, and Laila Stasiowski; brothers Norman Kohlmeyer (Sally) and Ed Stinson, and friend of over 50 years Ernie Feyhl. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Kurt Kohlmeyer.

A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM Saturday, October 28 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis.
