Lea Ann Osborn

Lea Ann Osborn, 56, of Sheridan, Indiana, died at 8:04 pm. on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel, Indiana. She was born December 31, 1961 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Robert and Patricia McDaniel.

On June 20, 1998 Lea Ann married Richard W. Osborn at the Plymouth Congregational Church in Fort Wayne.

Lea Ann was a graduate of Snider High School, and she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with majors in Finance and Economics from Indiana University in Fort Wayne.

Lea Ann was employed for thirteen years at LHD Retirement Indianapolis, Indiana and was currently serving as Director of Operations.

Lea Ann was an avid reader and she and Rick enjoyed traveling together.

Lea Ann is survived by her husband, Rick Osborn; her sister, Erin Gibson (Rick); her uncle, Dennis Haupert (Beverly); cousins, John Haupert (Heather), Gretchen Haupert (David Sanderman), and Matthew Haupert. Also surviving are father and mother-in-law, Charles and Beverly Osborn, sisters-in-law, Stacey Swanson (Steve), Erin Chater (Ahmed); and two nieces and three nephews, Lily and Jacob Haupert of Scottsdale Arizona, Olivia Swanson of Waterford, Virginia, Charles and Samuel Chater of Orefield, Pennsylvania.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her maternal grandparents, Ralph and Violet Haupert; and her paternal grandparents Ethel and Roland McDaniel.

A service celebrating Lea Ann’s life will be Saturday, June 30, 2018 with visitation at 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a service following at the Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center, 325 E Carmel Dr., Carmel, IN 46032.

Lea Ann adored her dogs, Alex and Shadow, who preceded her in death.
