Laura A Vanhorn

Laura A. VanHorn, 91, Indianapolis, went home to be with her Lord November 17, 2018. She was born in Indianapolis to the late John and Mary Kay Robertson. Laura attended Arsenal Technical High School, graduating on June 9, 1944. She worked in Human Resources for Community Hospital before retiring in 1983. Laura was a member of Old Bethel Methodist Church and Community Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Alvin “Bud” L. VanHorn, her parents, three brothers, two sisters, one half-brother, and daughter, Patricia Gingrich. Survivors include, her grandson, Michael (Holly) Gingrich, great-granddaughters, Makayla Lynn and Hannah Marie, step-brother, Jack Robertson, son-in-law, Don (Shirley) Gingrich. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be held Monday from 10-11am at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Good Shepherd Chapel), 9700 Allisonville Rd. Funeral services will follow at 11am.
