Larry Gerald Roth

Larry G. Roth, 79, passed away at his home in New Palestine on October 2, 2022. He was born on November 9, 1942, to his parents Gerald and Evelyn Roth in Grover Hill, OH.

Throughout his adult years, he worked for InterSystems Material Handling for 50 years until his retirement. He was also a member of the United States Navy, which he took great pride in. Larry was also a recipient of a GEAPS Corbett award.

Larry has been married to his loving wife, Joann Roth, for 57 years. Together they started a family and brought their children into the world. Larry loved his family. His love grew even more after he became a grandfather.

Larry was an avid sports fan. He loved all types of sports. Larry was an especially big fan of the Indianapolis Colts, no matter how well or poorly they are doing during the season. He also loved to attend his grandkids football and softball games. Along with sports, he loved fishing.

Larry is survived by his wife; Joann Roth, his children; Troy Roth (Cindy), Heather Hiatt (Mark), his grandchildren; Amanda Doss, Mason Hiatt, Raegan Hiatt, his great-grandchildren; Kay and Franklin Doss, and his sister; Diane Stahler.

He is preceded in passing by his parents, his child; Joey Roth, and his step-grandson; Joshua Hiatt.

Services will be held at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis. The visitation is from 11am-1pm, with the service beginning at 1pm. He will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery.
