Karl Bergquist

Karl Gordon Bergquist, 62, passed away July 27, 2023.

He was born November 17, 1960, in Denison, Texas, to Stanley Bergquist and Marguerite Hagood Lynch.

Karl was a graduate of Denison High School and went on to earn an Associates degree from Texas State Technical College. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was an avid lover of cats, movies, and firearms. He was a loving husband and father and he loved his family above everything else.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Ann Bergquist; his three sons Karl (Jessica), Thomas, Jonathan (Shelby); his mother Marguerite and his siblings David (Cindi), Judy (Glen), & Linda (Murray); and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by; his father Stanley David Bergquist; his stepfather Stanley Lynch, his brother Gary Bergquist, and his niece Ami.

Funeral service will take place 11 am, Thursday, August 3, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, 2125 Reeves Road, Plainfield, Indiana, 46168, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:30am until time of service.

Due to allergies, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to local children’s hospitals of the donor’s choice.
