June Diane (Burns) Mann, 59, passed away September 11, 2016, Indianapolis, IN. She was born at Franklin, Williamson County, TN on June 5, 1957.
Diane came to Indianapolis with her family in 1968. She was a housewife and took care of her husband lovingly. She had worked for Kroger and Marsh grocery stores. One of her hobbies was grocery shopping. She loved the grocery store and she watched food shows all the time. Diane could take a plant Randy found in a dumpster that looked deader than a door-nail and make it come alive again. Her deck and home were flowing with flowers that she loved to talk to and watch grow. Randy always said she could take a 2 by 4 and make it grow, too. Diane graduated from North Central High School, Indianapolis, in 1977.
Diane is survived by her husband and the love of her life Randy Mann; her children Jenna King and Christopher King; her step-daughters April (Wesley) Popham and Tracey (Mike) Hiatt; her grandchildren Bailey Stone, Ben and Layla Popham, Devon and McKenzie Hiatt; her dad and the man who raised and cared for her 48 years Paul R. Mize; her sister Darlene (Jene) Anderson, her brother, Charles Wilkerson (Linda Cook), nephews Mike and Tim Aughe; nieces Karen Presley, Regina Woodruff and Carey Burns.
She was preceded in death by her mother Mildred Mize; brothers Neil Burns and Roy Dale Burns and her father Kirby Burns.
Visitation will be held 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan- Geist, 7855 Cork Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46236. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour, IN.
