Julia Ann Cline
71, of Indianapolis, passed away March 16, 2019. She was born on December 20, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana as the daughter of John and Margaret Harter.
Julia had been an active member and Sunday school teacher at East Tenth United Methodist Church. She also was a member and officer of the Order of the Eastern Star. Julia enjoyed traveling and belonged to a traveling club. Rumor has it that Julia was a great hula dancer and was once offered a job at a resort in Hawaii. She enjoyed spending time with her family and it brought her great joy attending sporting events and dance recitals of her grandchildren. Julia served the community in many ways, including serving meals at soup kitchens, participating in group discussions at the Women’s Prison, and donating her time in other charitable events. Julia was always a smiling face with a kind, caring spirit to those around her.
Julia is survived by her husband, Relis D. Cline.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, 2019, from 12-2pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East. There will be a service following at 2pm also at the funeral home.
