Judy Rose Dunlap

Judith Rose Dunlap (née Taylor), 75, Indianapolis, passed away August 11.  She is survived by her husband Mike, son Brian, and brothers Jim (Anita), Columbus, and John (Judy), Plainfield.  She and Mike had been married for 47 years.  She was born in Lafayette of John T. and Rosemary (née Carter) Taylor, who moved to Bloomington when Judy was in grade school.  Judy graduated from Bloomington High School in 1963.

She held an Associate degree in Early Child Development, and provided education and child care for many years at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Eli Lilly Company, and Washington and Franklin Township schools.

She was a devoted Christian and member of Franklin Central Christian Church, where she served as Sunday school teacher, Elder, and Deacon.  A celebration of life service will be held at the church on December 30 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at noon.  Memorial contributions in Judy’s name would be welcome and should be sent to Franklin Central Christian Church, 4100 South Franklin Road, Indianapolis, IN  46239.
