Judith Sommers Morgan

Judith Sommers Morgan passed away on June 12, 2021. Judy was born in Odon, Indiana on October 9, 1930. Her parents, sister, brother, and daughters, Jan L. Morgan and Jamie Morgan Nickerson preceded her in death.

Judy graduated from high school in Washington, Indiana. She graduated from Indianapolis General Hospital and was a registered nurse. She worked as an Occupational Health Nurse at various industries throughout Indianapolis. She retired from Carrier Corp as the plant nurse in 1993.

Survivors include her son-in-law, Lance A. Nickerson, grandson, Zayden Nickerson, nieces and nephews, and many friends and caretakers, Julie Richardson and Joanie Nicely.

Judy belongs to P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter CN of Speedway, Indiana, and the Eastern Star. She was a past volunteer of Historic Landmarks. She loved to travel, read, and visit historical homes and places.

A memorial service will be held at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd W Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46228 on Thursday June 24, 2021 at 11am.
