Joyce Ellen Kem Roberts

Joyce Ellen Kem Roberts, 83, of Greenfield passed away October 5, 2017.

Joyce was born September 22, 1934 to the late Edna and Daniel Kem in Delaware County, Indiana. She graduated from Yorktown High School, and retired from David A. Noyes as an executive secretary. She was a member of Cross of Grace Lutheran Church, an accomplished pianist, enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting, gardening and traveling. She cherished the friendships made with her many friends in the Painted Hills neighborhood, but above all she loved spending time with her family.

She leaves behind her children, Charles E. Freeman (Jan), Pamela K. Bolton (Thomas), Jennifer L. Freeman, Daniel A. Freeman (Robin); grandchildren, Matthew Bolton, Kati Laymon, Kristen Moore, Kelly Wilken, Alexa Mirpoorian, Sam Mirpoorian, Blake Freeman, Abbey Bolden; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Lloyd Kem, Jerry Kem, Rhonda Thomas; and step-children, Elizabeth Roberts and John Roberts. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edgar Roberts; and sister, Vernice Kem.

A funeral service will take place 12:00pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 with visitation from 10:00am-12:00pm at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East.
