Joyce Ann Deloney

Joyce Ann Deloney, the daughter of the late Elvin Deloney and Frances (Morris) Deloney, was born in Gary, Indiana on July 12, 1954.

She graduated from Gary Westside High School in 1973. Joyce moved to Indianapolis, IN in 1980. In 1995, she graduated from Ivy Tech as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). During her career, she worked for Eskenazi (Wishard Memorial) Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Joyce was a former member of Eastern Star Baptist Church and current member of New Beginnings Fellowship Church. Joyce was kind and compassionate and at times a bit head strong too. She loved to garden, watch movies and spend time with her beloved family.

Joyce transitioned from this earthly life to her eternal home on Sunday, May 28, 2017, joining her father, Elvin who passed before her. She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Frances Deloney; her beloved daughter, Lexus (Phillip) Dodson and siblings: James T. Deloney, Margaret M. (James) Skiffer, Denise Boone-(Brady) Bennett, and Da’Ronte Deloney.

Memorial services will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
