Joyce Ann Cochran of Indianapolis passed away August 24, 2019 at the age of 73.

She was born July 21, 1946 in Indianapolis to the late Richard and Dorothy Allen.

Joyce worked for many years as a secretary in various offices. Later in life she assisted her father with his business and obtained her realtor’s license.

A conservative woman, she enjoyed quiet time at home with her husband and extended family. Her hobbies included reading (especially about the royal family) and caring for her beloved dogs.

She is survived by her husband of almost 45 years Michael D. Cochran; nieces Beth (Craig) Martin and Rachel Proffitt; nephews Michael Goldsmith, Patrick (Lana) Goldsmith, and Matthew (Joey) Goldsmith; sister Billie Jo (Tom) Thomason; aunts Judy Laughlin and Jane Staley; several great nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs Lizzie and Annie.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, September 4 at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington, Indianapolis. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 6500 Technology Center Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
