Joseph Okey

Joseph Carl Okey, 61, of Indianapolis passed away on December 1, 2016.

Joe was born on February 18, 1955 in Indianapolis to the late Vernon and Lois Okey. He retired from the United States Army after 19 years of service, and after worked for many years as a truck driver. He was a huge fan of the Indianapolis Colts.

Joe is survived by his children; Jennifer Robbins (Bill), Christina Reed (Chris), Missy Scott (Chris), Jason Okey (Jeanna), grandchildren; Shawn Reed, Kyle Okey, Jacob Robbins, Austin Scott, Jason Robbins, Eve Okey, sister, Susan Becker (Jeff), brother, Kevin Okey (Darlene), and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Sharon McKenzie.

A celebration of life will take place 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 6th, 2016, with a visitation on Monday from 5-8pm and Tuesday from 12:00-1:00pm at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East.
