John Mallory, 71, passed away peacefully March 10, 2016. Son of John Eskridge andJennie Kelly Jarrett, John was born in Birmingham Alabama June 5, 1944.
John received his education in the Indianapolis Public School System while attendingJohn Hope School #26 and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School. John was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam as anAirframe Repairman in 1963. While in service he received the NationalDefense Service and the Good Conduct Medals.
John was gainfully employed with Chevrolet as a Skilled-Tradesman and afterretiring he worked for Sweeney Commercial Maintenance. John enjoyedroller-skating, reading and mathematics. In his spare time John loved tohelp his friends and family with minor auto repairs and landscaping.
John shared his passion for animals with his son Christopher. He had awonderful sense of humor and loved to debate about world events, politics andreligious topics.
John Mallory departed this life Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the age of 71. He was preceded in death by his mother Jennie Kelly Jarrett, heleaves his son, Christopher Mallory; his daughters, Renita Goodloe and GailMallory; two grandchildren Johnzae Goodloe and Mark D. Cork Jr. a host of familyand many close friends.
