Jeffrey Burk Weitzel

Jeffrey Burk Weitzel, 77, of Indianapolis passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022.  He was born on April 15, 1945 in Plainfield, IL to the late John Shepley and Gloria (Burk) Weitzel.

Jeff was a 1963 graduate of North Central High School and served in the U.S. Navy.  He was the former owner of Weitzel Construction.

Jeff was a devoted husband of 52 years to LaVerne (Heinrich) Weitzel; a loving father to his children, Ginger (Steve) Ingram and Jason Weitzel; and a proud Grampy to his grandchildren, Dani Weitzel, Mac Mosbaugh, Jorja Weitzel, Roman Mosbaugh.  Jeff’s warm heart provided a home for many stray animals over the years, he leaves behind his canine companion, Beau.

A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 3pm Flanner Buchanan – Broad Ripple, with a reception to follow at George’s Neighborhood Grill from 4-6pm.  Friends may join the family virtually for the services by clicking HERE.  In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Indy Humane.
