Jeannie Jo Shaw

Jeannie Jo Shaw, 57, of Indianapolis, passed away July 2^nd, 2021. She was born February 11^th, 1964, in Indianapolis, to parents James and Nancy (Roberts) Shaw. Her parents trusted her fragile life to the Shriners Hospitals for Children and Riley Children’s hospital, who saved her.

She graduated from Perry Meridian High School.

Jeannie was a valued member of Southport Christian Church.

Jeannie was a social, independent lady. She loved to watch sports and cheer for her favorite team, the Pacers. Jeannie was quite a collector, favoring Beanie Babies, bells, shot glasses, and quarters.

She was a loving, devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Jeannie is survived by her father, James; her sisters Shelley (Michael) Springer, Angela Stone, and Seanna Shaw; numerous nieces and nephews, and her special friends Laura Ponsler, Ann Anderson, and Donna Buchanan.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy.

Visitation for Jeannie will be Wednesday July 21^st, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, from 1pm-2pm. Her funeral service will begin at 2pm and she will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
