Jean A. Kent

Jean A. Kent, 92, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, formerly of Noblesville, passed away March 6, 2023 in Westfield, Indiana. She was born March 18, 1930 in Evanston, Illinois to Robert L. and Frances R. Anderson.

In July 1951, she married the love of her life Robert “Bob” Kent; they were married for 54 years before he passed away in 2004. Faith was very important to her, and she was always active in her church wherever they lived, most recently the First United Methodist Church in Noblesville.

Jean loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren wherever she and Bob were living at the time which included Indianapolis, Central Lake, Michigan, Rochester, Indiana, and Noblesville.

She is survived by her sister Dorothy (Jim), her sons Steve (Karen), Gary (Nancy), Doug (Barbara), her grandchildren Josh, Kelly, Kristy, Jacob, and Kelsey and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her sister Kay and brother-in-law Jim.

Services are entrusted to Flanner Buchanan and will be held at Hamilton Memorial Park – Prairie Waters, 4180 Westfield Road, Westfield, Indiana on Friday April 7th with visitation from Noon-2:00pm and services at 2:00pm.
