Jason Ryan Doan,

45, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017.  Jason was born in Franklin, Indiana, on December 30, 1971 to Max R. and Deborah “Debi” (Hughes) Doan.

Jason was a wonderful person who brought joy to everyone he met. He cared deeply about family and friends, and just wanted to make sure everyone around him was happy. He was very active in supporting the foster care community; adopting three children with his husband, Alan. Jason’s family is extremely proud of how he took care of his family no matter what the cost, and that even in death was able to help others through organ donation. He will be truly missed by so many people.

Jason is survived by his husband and best friend, Alan Marin; his children: Alan Ryan Marin-Doan, age 10, and Max Renee Marin-Doan, age 11 months; his parents, Max and Debi; his sister, Melissa “Missi” Storie; his niece and nephews: Justin Poe, Tarek Storie, and Mollie Storie; his “grandson” Jasper Ryan Poe; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 5pm to 8pm, and on Saturday, November 11, from 9am to 11am; all at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd. West Dr., Indianapolis IN 46228.
