James O. Smith

James O. Smith , 91, of Indianapolis passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017.

Jimmy was an iron worker by trade and belonged to Local Union 22. He was a member of the Masons and Shriners.

His love of music, playing the piano began at the young age of four. Jimmy continued to share his gift of music with others throughout his entire lifetime.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife Betty Jean Smith; his children, Shirley Holdcroft (Fred) , Larry Smith (Martha), Sandy Duncan (Don); his 8 grandchildren; and his 10 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Eva (Froman) Smith and all of his siblings.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 11-12:30 PM. A memorial service will begin at 12:30 PM. All will be held at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park 425 N Holt Rd INDPLS, IN 46222. For an online memorial please visit www.flannerbuchanan.com.
