James Glenn

SFC James N Glenn, US Army Retiree passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at IU Health North. James was born on May 1, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio.

James served in the US Army for 22 years as a military finance specialist. He served the troops, protecting them and their families from financial hardship. James continued to service the military after retirement, working for the Defense Finance and Accounting Services for 16 years until retiring from Civil Services on October 31, 2015.
James is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Naylor) Glenn; stepmother, Joyce Glenn; brother, Robert Glenn; sister, Stacey Glenn; children, Eun (Karl) Christian, Michael (Luke) Glenn, Tera (Darren) Stockler, Amy (Ben) Holland; 17 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; special friends, Debbie SanNicholas and Ron Barnett, as well as his large, extended military family.
He was preceded in death by his parent, Doris (Williams) Glenn and James Glenn Sr., and daughter Lashelle Golson.
James was a loving husband, father and friend to all.
Visitation will be held at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel, 325 E. Carmel Drive, Carmel, Indiana, 46032 on Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at Flanner and Buchanan - Carmel at 5:00 p.m. The family of Glenn requests contributions to be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
