James F. Blair
90, of Indianapolis, went to be with The Lord on May 31, 2016. James was born April 7, 1926 in Clarksville, Tennessee to the late Will and Georgia (French) Blair. James worked for 37 years at Chrysler, before retirement in 1987. He was member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, where he served on the Usher Board. He was also an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time hunting and playing cards with his close friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Anna (Holland) Blair, sisters Leona Wood, Beatrice Hoosier, Louise Geneva Eldridge, Sadie Lee Eldridge, Helen Clardy, Rosie Belle Batson, brothers Oscar Blair, W.B. Blair. Left to cherish his memory; a daughter Deborah Lampkins; a sister Jessie O. Davie; nephew James Davie; niece Linda Lydia; 6 grandchildren and a 3 great grandchildren, friend and care giver, Edward Lange Sr.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 10am until time of services at 12noon at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church- 5325 E. 30th Street. Burial will follow the services in Floral Park Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to share a memory and sign his online guestbook at www.flannerbuchanan.com
