Jacob Robert Stricker

28 years old, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Jacob was born February 7, 1989 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was a graduate of Pike High School. He was just beginning his career as an apprentice to an electrician, he and approached it with his usual zeal and passion.

Jacob was a fun loving soul who enjoyed people immensely. His dry humor often caught you by surprise. He enjoyed reading, watching sports, and video games. He was always ready to socialize and sought out opportunities to engage others in conversation, even complete strangers, with a smile and a laugh. Jacob possessed a strong will and desire to take on the world on his own terms. He dreamed of being a provider and caretaker for his loved ones.

Jacob is survived by his parents, David and Karen Stricker, his sister, Amanda Stricker, and a large extended family and friend network; including Gracelyn Koehl whom he viewed as a daughter.

Memorial Gathering will be held from 1:00pm-2:30pm with Memorial Service at 2:30pm on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Zionsville Presbyterian Church 4775 W. 116th St. Zionsville, IN 46077.
